As in previous years, this year as well, a group of Armenian youth living in Hungary participated in the two-week educational and cultural program “Step Towards Home” organized in the motherland by the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of Armenia. The program aims to preserve the national identity of Armenian teenagers and young people in the diaspora.

The program included:

• Armenian language courses (Eastern and Western Armenian),
• Homeland studies courses,
• National song and dance lessons,
• Educational visits to historical and cultural sites in Armenia, museums, and educational institutions,
• Meetings with state, public, cultural, and artistic figures,
• Sports and cultural events.
