Haykak Arshamyan has been appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Hungary.

Haykak Arshamyan has been appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Hungary.

On June 5, by decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, Haykak Arshamyan was appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Hungary (residence: Budapest).

By another presidential decree, Ashot Smbatyan was recalled from his position as Armenia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Hungary.

Haykak Arshamyan previously held the position of Executive Director of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund. He announced that he is stepping down from that position due to his transition into diplomatic service.
