National Minority Awards in Hungary
The award is bestowed upon individuals and organizations that engage in exemplary activities benefiting national minorities in Hungary across various domains, including national society, education, culture, church, science, mass media, and economic self-organization.
The award ceremony occurred on December 14, 2023, at the Bulgarian Cultural Center. This year, the prize for national minorities was conferred upon 11 individuals and three organizations. Hamlet Nazaryan was honored with the award designated for the Armenian national minority, recognizing his decades of dedicated and tireless community work that has significantly contributed to the creation of value.
Deputy Prime Minister for Church and Inter-ethnic Relations Jolt Schemien and Secretary General Miklós Soltes presented the awards on behalf of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
